How do we get that "monkey mind" to settle down and be quiet, so we can expand to greater consciousness? Yoga is known as the "technology of transcendence" and has some very specific techniques to accomplish this. In addition to pranayama (breathing exercises) and "watching your breath," you'll learn about mantras, malas and mudras, which all help to control the mental chatter. The last part of the session will be 20 min. of meditation practice, followed by questions and answers for your specific concerns. Bring a cushion and a mala if you have them.
