Shelly began yoga in 2007 as a physical practice. It shortly expanded as she discovered there was not only a physical benefit, but also a spiritual affect. After feeling the peace this practice has to offer, and seeing the effects on her body and mind her program soon turned into a passion.
For her, yoga is a life long journey; one with many lessons. On so many levels, she has found the concepts of yoga incredibly valuable. Combining this passion and her love of people, she was compelled to completely change the direction of her life. Leaving the business world as a CPA, she pursued an education in Yoga Teacher Training at the Southwest Institute of the Healing Arts. Here she earned her 200 hour Yoga Certification and registered with Yoga Alliance. After taking her class, her students leave feeling invigorated with a greater sense of inner peace as well as a deeper connection with their own spirit.
